Test your LED, by pushing a battery between the two leads.
LEDs only work one way around! So flip it over if it doesn't work first time.

How-to: Create copper tape circuits
Make the Negative Connection
Stick a piece of copper tape down, and put your battery on top of it - negative side down.
Make the Positive Connection
This tape is only conductive on the top (non-sticky) side!
To make a connection to the top side of the battery:
- Fold the end of the piece of tape over itself, so you have a non-sticky end.
- Lay the non-sticky end over the battery, then tape down the rest of the copper tape.
Test & Secure
- Secure the battery and its connections, with a piece of clear sticky-tape.
- Hold your LEDs against the two strips of copper tape, to make sure it is the right way round!
- Secure your LED with clear sticky-tape.
Create your own Project
The main thing to remember... only the top of the copper tape is conductive!
You don't need to lay copper tape in a straight line as long as you follow that rule... experiment with it.
